Just what I needed….a new vice!!

ONLY TOOK ME 6 MONTHS TO POST THIS!

Ok, so getting obsessed about my son’s pinewood derby race all those years in Cub Scouts wasn’t enough, now I’ve been thinking about Haiku’s.  Yes, Haiku’s.

I am the farthest person from being a writer or heck even a very good reader, but for the last two months I’ve been thinking about Haiku’s and what it takes to write them.  Just shoot me now people.  I don’t know what it is, but there is something about thinking up a 17 mora poem.  Five syllables, then seven followed by five again.

So, without further ado….my first Haiku. (insert laughter)

Winter Ping

The hail hits my head

Oh, so, folically challenged

Curse you Winter night!
