100 degree, charity and celebrity
Last Monday, my friend Mike asked me to golf with him in a tournament here in the metro St. Louis area. It was hot and humid as hell, but nothing keeps you going like some ice cold beer and ice soaked towels along the course.
Regardless, we all had fun. We even got see PGA player Jay Williamson and for a small donation to the sponsoring charity (Downs Syndrome of STL) we could have him drive the green, 275 yards, for a possible birdie. It took Jay a few shots, but he was very personable and a good sport.
Here’s Jay and one of our playing partners, Andrew with a little photo op.
